Currently , there are eleven languages that enjoy the ‘Classical’ status in India

Tamil [ 2004 ],  Sanskrit [ 2005 ] , Kannada [ 2008 ] ,  Telugu [ 2008 ] ,  Malayalam , Odia [ 2014 ] , Marathi [ 2024 ] , Prakit [ 2024 ] , Pali [ 2024 ] , Bengali [ 2024 ] , Assamese [ 2024 ]

National Hindi Day : 14 September

Hindi was adopted as the national language in India by the Indian constitution on September 14 , 1949 to commemorate the adoption of the Hindi as the official language of India

World Hindi Day : 10 January

World Hindi Day is celebrated every year on January 10 to mark the first World Hindi Conference . The first World Hindi Conference was held in Nagpur on January 10 in 1975
